Big News: Wellen Park Is Getting Three New Parks and Two Nature Trails

Share

Wellen Park just keeps getting better. The community has unveiled plans for three brand-new parks and two scenic nature trails, and it’s great news for anyone who loves spending time outdoors. These new additions will bring 38 acres of recreational space to our already vibrant community, giving residents even more room to relax, play, and connect with one another.

According to the announcement, two of the parks will be large community spaces with open lawns, pavilions, and winding walking paths. The third will be a smaller neighborhood park tucked into a future residential village. The two new trails will wind through conservation areas and natural Florida landscapes, offering even more ways to explore the outdoors right here in our backyard.

Wellen Park has always been about creating a lifestyle, not just a neighborhood. This expansion is a thoughtful step in continuing that vision. More parks mean more ways to gather with friends, take in a quiet sunset, or let the kids burn off some energy. It’s also a win for runners, dog walkers, and anyone who loves having green space just a few steps from home.

Construction is expected to begin later this year, and we’ll be keeping an eye on the progress. As soon as shovels hit the ground, we’ll be there to share updates, photos, and the first looks at these new spaces. Wellen Park is growing, and so are the ways to enjoy it.

Based right in Downtown Wellen Park and open 7 days a week, we’ve got our finger on the pulse of the community.
