Great Wellen Bake Off 2025!

Calling all crust crimpers, filling fanatics, and whipped cream artists—it’s time to show Wellen Park what you’ve got! The Great Wellen Bake Off: Pie Edition is back for 2025, and we’re on the hunt for the best dessert pies in town.

Whether you’re a seasoned baker or just getting your feet flour-dusted, everyone’s welcome to enter—

• Junior Bakers (under 13)

• Teen Bakers (13–18)

• Adult Bakers (19+)

And yes—junior and teen bakers can get a little help from a grown-up sous-chef if needed.

Pies will be judged on taste, technical execution, and appearance, so bring your A-game—be it a classic key lime, a gooey pecan, a fluffy French silk, or something totally unexpected.

Please note: For health and safety, pies entered in the competition won’t be available for public tasting—but don’t worry, your sweet tooth won’t go neglected. Local vendors and community partners will be offering plenty of pie samples to enjoy while you cheer on the contestants.
