Oktoberfest Comes to Downtown Wellen Park

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 4 as Wellen Park hosts its 2nd annual Oktoberfest. The lakefront will be alive with Bavarian tradition from the first keg tapping to the last polka song offering neighbors and visitors a day packed with music, contests, food, and plenty of festive cheer.

Festival Highlights

The celebration begins with the ceremonial keg tapping at noon, followed by lively polka dancing, a crowd-favorite stein hoisting competition, and authentic music from the DeLeon Family Oktoberfest Band. The whole family can enjoy the festive sights and sounds while strolling the promenade and soaking in the fall atmosphere.

  • 12:00 pm – Inaugural Keg Tapping
  • 2:00 pm to 3:45 pm – Polka Dancing
  • 3:45 pm – Stein Hoisting Competition
    Sign up from 12:00 pm to 3:30 pm at Oak and Stone’s outside patio bar. Five dollar entry fee. Keep the stein. Women’s and men’s divisions available.
  • All Day – DeLeon Family Oktoberfest Band performing live
