Paddle by Moonlight: Full Moon Adventure Returns to Wellen Park

Share

There’s something extra special about Wellen Park at night—and this Wednesday, June 11, you’ll have the chance to experience it from the water. The Full Moon Adventure is back, and Grand Lake is calling.

Whether you’re paddling with friends, family, or just soaking up the solo vibes, this is your chance to glide under the stars and experience Grand Lake in a whole new light.

Here’s the scoop:
Paddling runs from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Bring your own kayak or rent one from Kind Vibes Outfitters. All paddlers need to sign a waiver when they arrive—then you’re free to float beneath the full moon.

Come early or stay after to enjoy these local favorites:

Kind Vibes Outfitters
Offering easy kayak rentals and all the lakeside energy you need. We’ll be ready with gear, lights, and good vibes to set the tone for a smooth night on the water.

Lago Tacos
Grab a quick bite before you paddle out—choose from street tacos with brisket, chicken, or pork, crispy empanadas, or classic chips and queso. Keep it light or indulge a little—you earned it.

Lakeside Bites
Paninis, lobster rolls, crispy bites, and fries? Yes, please. Whether you’re into chicken tenders, shrimp baskets, or mac & cheese bites, Lakeside has the comfort food to fuel your night. And don’t miss the 32 oz lemonades—perfect for cooling down after your moonlit paddle.

This isn’t your average weeknight. It’s a peaceful, community-powered night under the moon, right here in Wellen Park.

We wanted a go-to spot where locals and curious visitors could get a quick, fun, and truly local take on what’s happening each week. Based right in Downtown Wellen Park and open 7 days a week, we’ve got our finger on the pulse of the community.
